Helping you to find balance in who you are and who you know you’re meant to be

tune into your true self

Hello, I’m Grace - a musician, creative producer and music psychotherapist

A bit about me…

I’m an HCPC and BAMT registered music therapist dedicated to transforming the way we approach mental well-being. I believe that within each of us lies a ‘creative core’—a source of healing and empowerment. If you’re curious about your own imagination and its potential, I’m here to guide you in harnessing this power, helping you build the life you deserve.

I understand what it’s like to be in the client’s seat, which keeps me deeply connected to the vulnerability and courage it takes to seek help. This perspective shapes my practice—I honour the trust placed in me and strive to create a compassionate and authentic therapeutic space.

Being a musician, creative producer and psychotherapist means that I have a great deal of experience at the intersection of self-expression and creativity. I've worked within adult mental health in the NHS as well as private practice, helping those with long-term as well as sudden mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, psychosis. And also supporting people with ADHD/ADD, autism and neurodiversity.

This process with me revolves around our therapeutic relationship and uses music as a non-judgemental element in the mix to tune into your true self. Helping you to find balance in who you are and who you know you’re meant to be.

How I got here

Music has been an integral part of my life for over 25 years. As a classical pianist, flautist, singer-songwriter, and guitarist, I graduated from the University of Manchester with my music degree. My journey led me from hospitality to live music event planning, radio broadcasting, and working as a Learning Support Assistant for non-verbal children with autism. It was through working with these children—using music as a bridge when words weren’t enough—that I discovered music therapy.

I then moved to London to pursue my Master’s in Music Therapy at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Those two years were a journey of personal and professional evolution—challenging, enlightening, and deeply rewarding. After, I qualified as a music therapist, ready to support others to connect with themselves and those around them.

Why your music personality matters to me

Post-covid I shifted back into the live music industry, working as a creative producer whilst continuing to work as a music therapist for young people.

Being right at the heart of this industry, watching and supporting professional artists create, underlined why I believe listening is so important for creative connection. And why I focus on this in my practice as a music therapist.

I worked with the likes of Loyle Carner, Metronomy, Arlo Parks, Wolf Alice, The Last Dinner Party, Declan McKenna, Sampha, Dry Cleaning, Dream Wife, Lil Silva, The Murder Capital, Squid, Heartworms, Orlando Weeks, Birdy, Fatoumata Diawara, Ibibio Sound Machine, THE WAEVE, Tom Walker, Alela Diane, Silvana Estrada, Anna B Savage…

When you work with me you will get a tailored understanding and most of all respect about your music personality. I will always ask you what music and artists feel right to you. There will not be any presumption or hierarchy with the different types of genres explored.

I strongly uphold that you are the expert of your creativity.
